Excitement is
definitely in the air! Christmas concert tickets that were pre-ordered went
home today with the oldest child attending Fairview (if you wanted tickets and
didn’t order any please check the parent portal and contact Natalie Currie by
email)

reminders…
Costume - pajamas and a Santa Hat (only if you
want them to have one – if you are sending one please label it with your child’s
name with masking tape on the inside) Sorry for the late notice but one of the
student’s suggested it and we thought it was a cute idea!
Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 9:00 dress rehearsal ***Students should come to school in
pj’s
Evening performance at 6:30 that day ***we are asking the children
to arrive at their classrooms at 6:15
pm so please have them stay with you until that time!
Wednesday, Dec. 13 1:00 pm performance
Div.9 has now finished
all their great Canadians. I was very proud of how well all of the students
did. Public speaking is not easy and all of them did an awesome job! The posters all look great in the hall too
and will be an important addition to their memory books.
You should have received your copy of your child’s report card on Tuesday. If for some reason you didn’t get it please let me know.
Our field trip
to Burnaby Museum is on Friday, Dec. 15th. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to join
us. It should be a great day! Please send in the $9.00 asap.
Skating is on
Tuesday, Dec. 19 afternoon after hot lunch! Another exciting day!
Our Christmas
celebration will be on Friday, Dec. 22.

Your child may
have mentioned that I didn’t come back after lunch today. Unfortunately, my mom
isn’t well and I had to suddenly book a flight to Calgary. I am actually
writing this as I am flying over the rockies! I really hope to be back for
Monday but I may to need to stay longer.
